I wore the uniform for over two decades. I served in the same Navy that Rear Admiral Lillian Fishburne, Admiral Michelle Howard, and Admiral Samuel Gravely helped build. I stood on the shoulders of Generals Benjamin O Davis Sr. and Jr. So when Pete Hegseth stands in front of a room full of fag officers and calls their legacy "toxic ideological garbage", I become enraged…the very people he looks to demote or fire are the epitome of what we SHOULD want in our military officers. If only Hegseth could see it that way.
